This post from here on is a reworded copy of Alistar's post from AC-Web in 2019.
For those who remember Arena-Tournament (AT), this was one of the most popular tournament-style WoTLK realms back in the day, developed by Malaco, BigPwn, Kerhong, and Midna.
Background
About a year ago, I acquired their source code from mid-2013 (before they merged with Molten to form Warmane). Despite being outdated and missing a database, I saw potential and decided to bring it back to life. I've successfully rebuilt the missing database and updated everything to 2019 standards.
Custom Features Added
Security & Anti-Cheat
- Anti-PQR and EWT protection
- Advanced anticheat system
Arena Systems
- Custom 1v1 and 3v3 SoloQ brackets (2 DPS, 1 Healer composition)
- Arena spectator for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and SoloQ (displays games above 1500 MMR)
- Arena queue commands: solo, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3
- Challenge command for solo or group play
- Arena and Battleground ready-check crystals
Gear & Equipment
- Pick-a-Spec NPC: automatically unequips your gear and provides a complete gear template with gems, enchants, and talents
- Custom transmogrifier: transmog from inventory, item ID, or by arena rating
- Arena Cases containing 2,600+ tradeable transmog items
- Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Legendary Arena Chests dropped from arena wins
- Arena Case trader NPC for selling cases for honor points
